In 2008 Labman manufactured and installed a spectrophotometer loading system in the UK. The system was designed to fit around an existing spectrophotometer which has been used for a number of years and validated for this process. The Labman system picks optical filters from a rack and loads them between the spectrophotometer and the viewed object. The system has capacity for 60 different filters and can present the filters at 0.0° or 10.5°. In this instance the customer had a great deal of software expertise so Labman supplied the system with a low level control dll and the customer developed the software for the process.
